Trailhead Fishing Lodge

Trailhead Resort, a hotel-resort located in Port Renfrew two hours west of Victoria, offers comfortable and spacious accommodation. Our suites and cabins are available to non-fishing guests while our Trailhead Lodge is exclusively for charter fishing package guests.

Our Vancouver Island resort is located only a short walk from Port Renfrew’s pubs and restaurants, as well as boat moorage in Snuggery Cove at the Port Renfrew Community Dock.

Our Trailhead Store, located right at the resort, can supply you with souvenirs, batteries, books and postcards. Check out our great Trailhead clothing designs and local artwork.

Lodges and Suites

Our comfortable living suites offer full kitchens and living areas. Sleep in comfort in a queen size or a double bed with a feather duvet (comforter).

These rooms will sleep up to 4 persons. Each room includes:

• A comfortable living room
• Full kitchen
• Private bathroom
• Satellite television
• Large deck area with patio furniture
• Access to hot tubs, fire pit and lounge area

Private Cabins

Our two newly constructed 1200 sq. ft. cabins have two bedrooms with three beds in each, two bathrooms, a full kitchen and comfortable living room.

We also have a third slightly smaller 2-bedroom cabin with 4 beds. All cabins include:

• Full kitchen
• Comfortable living area
• Private bathroom
• Satellite television
• Picnic table and bbq
• Access to hot tubs, fire pit and lounge area

Our lodge is exclusively for fishing charter package guests. *The lodge, built in 2004, offers:

• Accommodations upstairs in two rooms, each with a private bathroom, and a shared living area.
• A large dining area where you’ll enjoy the meals included in your package.
• A large lounge and self-service bar where you can relax and reminisce about your day’s catch.
• A large deck with covered areas that overlooks the harbour.

Hearty lodge meals are provided on each fishing day starting with a complete continental breakfast. Your lunch is packed and served to you on your boat, including plenty of snacks and drinks to enjoy as well. Fresh crab or shrimp will be among the appetizers served after your day of fishing. Dinner is a three course, west coast extravaganza specializing in fresh caught pacific seafood. Alcoholic beverages are not included in package price.

* Non-fishing guests can also join fishing package guests if space is available. The area offers plenty to see and do, including beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and Trailhead also offers guided kayaking and nature tours.
